Relishable outdoor games (Cont.)

ReeRee KaoSarn (London Bridge)
........The more the merrier. To play this game, two children clasp and raise their hands while the others walk in procession and go underneath. At once, the two sing,
  "ReeRee KaoSarn   Song Tanan KaoPleuk
Lueak Tong BaiLan   Kod Kao Sai Jarn
Geb Bia TaiToon Ran   Pan Aow Kon Kang Lang Wai"

ReeRee KaoSarn (London Bridge)

........At the end of the song, the couple lowers their arms and traps the unfortunate one who passes underneath. Once trapped, the person will be eliminated. Therefore, the players must try not to be trapped. The pair can either slow down or quicken their songs to trick their fellows, so that they can trap them more easily.

Mon Sorn Pa (Mon hides a cloth)
........Children sit around in a circle. The one who is Mon holds a piece of cloth behind his back and runs around the circle. Other children will chant the following verses :
"Mon Sorn Pa   Tookata Yu KangLang
Wai None Wai Ne   Shan Ja Te Kon Ter
"Mon hides a cloth   And a doll behind.
You put it here or there,   Or I'll hit your backside.
Mon Sorn Pa
........While walking, the Mon will quietly drop that piece of cloth behind someone. The players are forbidden to turn back; to know that the cloth is dropped behind them or not, they can only touch. If Mon returns and that person still does not know, he will be beaten by Mon, and as a result, will become Mon instead. On the contrary, if the person know, he will pick the cloth and beat Mon. The latter has to be Mon until he can find a substitute.

E-ga Fak Kai (The Hatching Crow)
........The child who plays the Crow draws a circle around himself, whereas the others put stones or round objects, which are taken as the bird's eggs, into the circle. The Crow stoops over the eggs, trying to protect them by swinging his legs to-and-fro. The others must attempt to steal the eggs. Once touched by the Crow's leg, the player becomes the crow instead, and remains there until the eggs are all stolen.
